RC Airplanes | Cheap RC Airplanes
RC aeroplanes also known as RC airplanes or radio controlled airplanes are basically miniature airplanes that uses radio waves with a transmitter (TX) also known as a controller, and a receiver (RX) to synchronize the movement of the control surfaces with the input of the sticks on the transmitter.
The transmitter sends a radio signal, on 27 MHz or 72 MHz, when a input is put on a stick or switch, to the receiver on the airplane. The receiver then controls the corresponding servo motors that control the control surfaces.
A servo motor is a small case that has a motor and a series of gears inside of the case; the gears move an arm on the outside that is linked to the control surface that the servo is mapped to.

RC Airplanes
There are many types of radio controlled aircraft. For beginners there are park flyers, and trainers. For more advanced pilots there are regular glow and electric aircraft, and sailplanes. And for expert fliers, there are jets, pylon racers, helicopters, and other high end competition aircraft.
Park flyers, as the name implies, are small, easy to fly aircraft. They are designed with the average flier in mind, no area bigger than a park to fly, low budget, and ease of flight. Trainers are similar to park fliers in the fact that they are on the docile side, and are comparatively inexpensive, however, they are bigger and usually are glow (gas powered) engine powered. Then you get into the larger aircraft, like scale or sport airplanes. These are usually more expensive and take quite a bit of skill to fly. As for sailplanes, or gliders, these airplanes are slow, elegant, airplanes that usually don’t have a motor, they are launched with bungee cables, winches, aero tow, or even hand launched. Most use thermals to gain lift, and take quite a deal of skill to become good at finding thermals. Then there are the expert airplanes. Jets are the most expensive (usually) and commonly use an actual turbine to power them. These aircraft can reach speeds in excess of 200 mph! And they take incredibly quick reflexes and very expensive equipment. Then there are the racers, small, prop aircraft that race around a 2, 3, or 4 pylon track. These aircraft are hard to see and get up to the 150 mph range. Another difficult type is the helicopters. Helicopters take the most amount of skill to fly. You have to control throttle, pitch, roll, yaw, vertical speed, sideways speed, forward and backward speed, and the pitch of the rotor blades.
